Nasser Haj - ناصر حاج
Nasser Haj is a renowned Nubian Artist, Poet and Composer from Abu Simbel. He was interested in art since his young age, and liked to sit with artists and to learn from them.
His first public performance was in 1975 in Alexandria, however Artist Nasser Haj started his career in the mid 1990s after he was encouraged by the great late Poet Abu Semil.
Nasser Haj mainly writes lyrics and composes the melodies, which are sung by several Nubian artists, mainly Bisimbis and Hisham Bata, and often he sings together with other artists like Hisham Bata and Eissa Tamim.
