Nabil Fethy is a gifted and creative young Artist from Abu Simbel, who elates as well his young fans as his established public. He is also cheered and respected by the famous Nubian Artists, who often select him to play keyboard during artistic gatherings and meetings.
Surrounded by the numerous great artists in his native village, he soon developed love for music and song, and decided he wanted to undertake an artistic career during his secondary education. Supported by major artists, Nabil became not only a great singer, expressing his feelings while accompanying his songs in a creative way with his keyboard, but also an innovator issuing many new songs which he sings alternatively with traditional Nubian songs.
Despite his young age he remains attached to the original Nubian rhythms and sounds, and prefers to sing in Nubian, although at the request of his public - mostly at weddings - he also sings some Arabic songs in Sudanese style. Nabil Fethy is a great advocate of the Nubian language, values and tradition, and an example for the promotion of Nubian Art among the young generation.
