Eissa Tamim - عسى تميم
Eissa Tamim from the village Eniba loved singing since his childhood. When he first sang a traditional song at a wedding party with the Shams Hussein music band that was famous in the 1980s, he was encouraged by many people to take the path of singing art.
Eissa and his friends sang at many events, and accessed to fame. After he left to work in Saudi Arabia he participated in many Nubian events there, and sang a song with the famous Nubian singer Zikrayat Welwele that earned big success.
Beside Nubian Heritage songs and songs written for him by famous Nubian poets, Eissa Tamim also wrote and composed some of his own songs. His latest song Ashri Gurrand Anilinna of the great Nubian poet Nasser Haj - and whith his participation - earned Eissa the mention of the "best Nubian song 2019" at an on-line competition.
