Mohammed Awad from Dongola is a great authentic Artist promoting and preserving the traditional Nubian song, and a great musician accompanying his songs with the typical Nubian music instrument, the Kithir (or Tanbour in Arabic).

He is also a researcher in Nubian heritage, and leads a wonderful chorale and "Arageed" Nubian dance troupe that adds vivacity to his musical presentations.
