Ahmed Ismail is an outstanding and very popular young Nubian artist, born 1981 in the village Musmus. He already listened to the songs of the great Nubian Artist Mohammed Wardi when he was only two and a half years old. Artists in his environment encouraged him to learn play the organ and the oud and to start his artistic career. He started his career driven by his interest in preserving the dwindling Nubian language, one of the oldest languages in the World, as he recognized that the best way to promote interest for the language with the young generation is through songs.

Beside singing Nubian heritage songs, Ahmed Ismail sings poems composed by the greatest Nubian poets, and sings a very varied selection of melodies. He also likes to share his performance with other Nubian artists. In 2003 Ahmed Ismail obtained a prize from WIPO, the World Intellectual Property Organization in Geneva - Switqerland.

Ahmed Ismail also sings a range of beautiful rhythmic religious songs, to incite young Nubians to respect the wonderful principles of Nubian society, based on honesty, generosity, mutual affection, kindliness, sharing and good moral behavior.
