Ashraf Bata, a son of the regretted wonderful Artist Abdallah Bata who greatly contributed to the Nubian song, is another great singer and musician from the artistic center of Abou Simbel.
Although he is highly appreciated in Nubian artistic community, Ashraf Bata doesn't like to give concerts or sing at weddings. Instead, he sings in small gatherings, where feels at ease expressing his beautiful artistic feelings.
The Artist Ashraf Bata mainly sings poems written and melodies composed by the brilliant poet of Abu Simbel Hilmi Abuzeid, as well as traditional Nubian songs.
