Mohammed Yousef is one of the young Nubian artists from Abu Simbel (Lower Nubia - Egypt) who gained a large following among his public.
Mohammed focuses on songs with religious content, the Sufi "Praise to God" or "Praise to the Prophet" poems which he sings with renewed melodies in the typical rhythmic Nubian music style, in order to create more enthusiasm among young Nubians for this type of songs.
Mohammed Yousef started singing religious songs since he was six years old, whe he accompanied his father to the mosque and to events. Occasionally he sings with other Nubian artists, mainly with the great Artist, Musician and Composer Hisham Bata.
