Bisimbis - بيسمبيس
The Nubian Artist Bisembis from Abu Simbel - Mohammed Hussein Alomdeh is his real name - is one of the veterans of the contemporary Nubian song. It is therefore no wonder that he is commonly known as "The Legend" among the Nubian population.
With his tender and melodious voice, and singing in the Nubian tradition, he enchants his large public at many Nubian festivities and weddings. Although Bisimbis sings many traditional Nubian songs, he also has a large selection of his own cretive songs, and two of his recent songs entered an online competition for the best Nubian song of 2020.
Bisimbis is also known outside of the Nubian regions in Egypt and Sudan; he has given several concerts in various countries of the Arab Peninsula.
