The young Nubian poet Ahmed Eissa is gifted with an extraordinary talent and creativity, and is prominent on the scene of Nubian art as well writing emotive poems and lyrics for various Nubian artists as translating Nubian poems and songs into Arabic, mainly as a partner in the distinguished website "Nobiin Dore Kolod" founded by Dr. Hassan Nour that promotes and documents Nubian art and language.
Since his childhood and early youth, Ahmed Eissa was attracted to the Nubian poem and song, as he was surrounded by the great Poet Mohammed Omar Taha and the fabulous late Poet Tareq Salah Eldin, as well as famous Artists, like the regretted late Khidhir El-Attar, Ghazi Said and Eissa Tamim, all from his region, and shared their nostalgy and longing for the beautiful nature and pleasant life in their lands of origin in Old Nubia, from which they were displaced with their families as it was flooded following the construction of the Aswan High Dam.
All that was left to them was their art, which they embraced competing in describing the blissful life, wonderful nature and tenderness and loveful relations of the Nubian society with utmost passion and devotion. Ahmed Eissa started to write poems as he was only seventeen years old, when the renowned Artist Khidhir El-Attar asked him to write songs for him, which was crowned with great success. Ahmed than wrote songs for the eminent Artist Ghazi Said, Ahmed Ismail, the lovely Zikrayat Welwele, the charming young singer Fedwa Othman, and he also cooperated with the young Artists from his village Ibrim, Hassan Abu Ras and Ikrami Ismail.
Ahmed Eissa's beautiful art, benevolent activities and endeavor for the promotion of the Nubian language and arts is an inspiration to all young Nubians and a role model to follow on his long and successful career.
