Le regretté Tareq Salah Eldin du village d'Eniba est un merveilleux poète nubien, et pour de nombreux Nubiens, il est célébré en tant que père de la poésie nubienne contemporaine, de l'art et de la défense des aspirations nubiennes au retour constitutionnellement accordé sur les terres nubiennes et de la la prévention d'une décimation supplémentaire, après qu'une grande partie de la Nubie ait été submergée par le lac Nasser artificiel.

Après que lui et sa famille aient été déplacés de leur village d'origine noyé - qui a coïncidé avec la mort de sa mère, de son frère et de sa sœur cadette, le jeune Tareq a rassemblé autant de cassettes de chansons nubiennes que possible et a écrit les paroles. Il a également lu des poèmes de nombreux poètes des anciens villages nubiens, mais peu ont été chantés et la plupart se sont perdus. Analysant les rimes, Tareq Salah Eldin a commencé à les compléter et a progressivement écrit ses propres poèmes, bien que d'une nouvelle manière non conventionnelle et en utilisant de vieux mots nubiens - qui risquaient de disparaître après le déplacement.

A la recherche de travail, Tareq Salah Eldin a émigré à Riyad en Arabie Saoudite. Il a envoyé des cassettes avec ses poèmes et ses mélodies à ses proches, et l'artiste nubien Eissa Tamim a chanté son premier poème - "Ghurba", ou l'étranger. Après son retour en Égypte, il a entamé une collaboration très créative et productive principalement avec les merveilleux artistes Ghazi Said , Khidhir El-Attar, et Ahmed Ismail qui chantent nombre de ses poèmes et Seid Ibrahim Qurty , son ami et admirateur qui chante et a composé de nombreuses mélodies augmentant l'excellence de ses poèmes. Tareq Salah Eldin lui-même a chanté ses poèmes lors de rassemblements artistiques, jouant du Oud (luthe), et a composé certaines mélodies pour ses poèmes.

Tareq Salah Eldin est devenu célèbre pour ses poèmes exceptionnels incorporant des sentiments profonds, des descriptions colorées et des messages touchants - le tout incorporé dans des rimes astucieuses. À la tristesse de la communauté nubienne, il est décédé en 2016 à l'âge de 56 ans, mais son incroyable œuvre d'art restera inoubliable et un flambeau dirigeant les artistes nubiens contemporains et futurs, et se répercutera dans les cœurs, les esprits et les chansons des plus grands chanteurs nubiens pour toujours.
